Charkit Moves to New Site in Norwalk, CT

Norwalk, Connecticut June 25, 2007-- Charles Hinnant, President, Charkit Chemical Corporation, announces that the company has relocated its headquarters to Norwalk, Connecticut.

Mr. Hinnant said, “The relocation is a direct response to the continuing growth we have experienced and reflects our determination to meet the requirements of an increasing roster of customers in the personal care, pharmaceutical, flavor and fragrance industries.”

From its previous 8,000 square feet of space in Darien, Connecticut, Charkit now owns 21,000 square feet of Class A office space in Coachworks Condominium, 32 Haviland Street, Norwalk, Connecticut. Initially, Charkit occupies 12,600 square feet with plans to grow into the balance of the space over the next 5 years. The relocation and investment in this prime property coincides with the company’s yearlong celebration of its 25th anniversary in 2007.

In addition to requiring expanded space to better service its customers, Mr. Hinnant pointed out that the new location offers an energetic and vibrant environment for its employees. The new office is situated in the historic waterfront section of South Norwalk.

The space has been custom designed for the special needs of the company’s sales and marketing staff, with areas specifically dedicated for meeting with customers and for collaborating with each other to service their needs.

Plans include the strategic objective to increase Charkit’s staff. Meeting its growth projections with the addition of industry professionals and a support team is well underway, with a steady build-up to complement several new appointments that have been announced over the past few months. Charkit has recently launched a new advertising campaign and provides a redesigned and updated website to communicate the extent of its broadened capabilities.

Mr. Hinnant noted that he and the entire Charkit management team and staff are enthusiastic about the move to a new location. “It’s another example of our willingness to change with the times, expanding our physical resources to meet the needs of a changing business environment that demands more of us and which we are more than eager to accommodate to the fullest.
