Norwalk, Connecticut, August 24, 2017 – Jay Lang, Executive Vice President, Charkit Chemical Company LLC, announced that Robert Christopher “Chris” Gallagher has been named as a Charkit Account Executive. Mr. Lang commented, “As a member of our sales team, Chris will not only be supporting our company’s growth with current customers, he will also be taking us into untapped markets. We anticipate that his efforts will result in the development of even more strategic products and an increase in committed customers who are benefiting from our growing roster of product and service resources.”
Since 2008, Chris Gallagher held an industry-related position at Florachem Corporation in Jacksonville, Florida. In this capacity, he was personally responsible for customer growth and business development in 16 of Florachem’s newly designated territories in the U.S and the Caribbean. Mr. Gallagher also grew his territory by adding customers in multiple South American countries. The markets he served included but were not limited to Oil and Gas, Personal Care, Industrial Cleaning and Lubricants. His substantial experience also features the review and oversight of the company’s ERP Chempax system; assisting in product formulation development, R&D and technical operations; and, supporting the company’s efforts in market research, website development, trade shows and customer events. Chris holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of North Florida.
