Angie Inouye Joins Charkit

Norwalk, Connecticut, December 5, 2013 – Charles Hinnant, President, Charkit Chemical Corporation, announced that Angie Inouye has just been named Sales Account Executive, representing Charkit on the West Coast.

In making the announcement, Mr. Hinnant said, “Angie Inouye’s appointment reflects our determination to expand Charkit’s presence on the West Coast, maximizing new opportunities while also building and enhancing the service we offer to our existing client base in this important region.”

Mr. Hinnant added that Ms Inouye’s substantial experience in previous positions make her the ideal professional for this slot. Over the past three years, she was Director of Business Development at Consumer Products Testing Company in Fairfield, New Jersey. In this role, she had a notable impact on generating new business in the Western United States and achieved success in expanding the company’s consumer base, increasing revenues and improving customer relationships. Prior to this position, Ms Inouye was the Director of Business Development for McKenna Labs, Inc, well known as a personal care contract manufacturer.

Before that, she was the Sales and Marketing Manager at Bioscreen Testing Services in Torrance, California, moving up from her role as a Marketing Representative.

In her newly appointed position at Charkit, Ms Inouye will report to Jay Lang, Executive Vice President and Dan O’Neill, Sales Manager – Personal Care.

Ms Inouye is the 2014 Chair Elect of the California chapter of the Society of Cosmetic Chemists (SCC), which honored her with a Merit Award in 2010; and she is Past President of Beauty Industry West. She is also President of the Parent Teacher Association of Monte Vista Elementary School and is an active participant in several other local volunteer groups. Ms Inouye is a graduate of El Camino College in Torrance.
